Fat body Twin Tail Fly Fishing Lure (Quick Change ) QC10

Quick changes fly fishing Lure that has the rought profile of a fish and twin tails that wiggle from the tail to the head. Comes in 20 Colours and is fitted to a size 8 hook. The head is four ply thick for added hook holding strength

LIST OF ADVANTEGES OF THIS TYPE OF FLY

1. More natural lively action, that goes through the whole length of the body and is not masked or inhibited by the hook. This increased action has to be seen and tried to really appreciate the difference.

2,Smaller/ larger hooks can be used or different types to suit different types of fishing i.e. salt water hooks can be fitted for sea fishing.  Some angling clubs etc have restrictions on hook size, with these flies just the hook can be changed to apply to the rules.

3. Not having to tie the fly to the hook makes them lighter, less bulky and more streamlined and at the same time the hook is more open and not masked by the hook tying and fibres’ on the hook. This also means smaller and lighter hooks can be used with more chance of a cleanly hooked fish.

4. They turn over more easily when casting with less chance of tangling with the leader.

5. With the hook at the front’ there is much less chance of catching up on the bottom or fail hooking other under water obstructions.

6. Hook is fitted at right angles to the body and helps with hooking once in the fish’s mouth, acts as a hook snagging devise.

7. As the fly is lighter, fin and less bulky they cast well on both single and double handed fly rods and bring out the best in fly fishing. Both complement each over.

6. The light weight and inbuilt action will still work when being retrieved very slowly or when being held in slow to moderate currents. They will still have movement when left too sink on their own.

9. Swim on a more natural angle and not tail down as some flies and other types of lures tend to do.

10. When left to sink and rest on the bottom, depending on hook and body type it will lay hook point upwards and have less chance of fail hooking the bottom. Also split shot can be added to the tag end of the hook knot in order to make sure that the hook point will face upwards when allowed to rest on the bottom.

11. The design helps to prevent the fish from being able to use the fly lure body to lever out the hook

12. Easy and quick to change to another colour or other types of our quick change flies.

13. New and unique types of flies with enhanced actions that are helping to bring more choice and variety of flies and more ways to use them.

14. It is easy to either add weight or foam to the hook, to be able to change either there bouncy or sink rate to help change the actions of these flies. It is also very easy to add just enough weight to the hook to make these flies neutral or very slow sinking. Another option is to make the fly sin faster / slower than the main fly line so that they can be retrieved on a different plain to each other.  As these types of flies are much lighter than other types in relation to their size, then much less weight is needed to make them sink and a smaller amount of foam will be needed to help make them afloat

15. They can be put on to traditional flies as well as just normal hooks, for extra attraction.

16. They are normally a lot easier to unhook fish as the hook can normally be seen more easily in the fish’s mouth and is not masked by any fibres etc. It is also very rare to deep hook fish with this type of hook set up

17. This was touched on in no,6 and concerns the  fact that they can be worked in the current much better than other types of fly. What’s more even when held  or trapped in varying currents that seem to hold the fly static, these flies will still be moving and waving about in the current and not be left static and lifeless as over types of flies tend to do.

18. Rubber bodied flies do not soak up water as other types of flies do  and this makes them a lot more easy to cast in most instances.

 FITING and REMOVING

To fit the hook simply push the hook point through the  head of the fly  (the head is 3 or 4 ply thick on these flies at the head)

To remove pull the  rubber body over the hook point and then back to remove it from the hook barb.Quick changes fly fishing Lure that has the rought profile of a fish and twin tails that wiggle from the tail to the head.
